You will sit among us, collaborate with us, and do actual work for our actual clients. Every day brings something different as you pivot from clients in industries like consumer durables, banks, breweries, and software. During an Icon internship, you get to hone your skills and learn new ones from experts on retail marketing, SEO, social media, creative thinking, information architecture, and plenty more.

What You’ll Do With Us

  • Assist our account team to deliver on-time, accurate results
  • Attend project and planning meetings
  • Provide excellent communication to both our team and clients
  • Collaborate with our in-house design team to create effective advertising materials
  • Research clients, competitors, and advertising trends
  • Help with administrative responsibilities

 

What We Need From You

  • Current majors in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Full-time availability (Monday–Friday/8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal and client-relationship skills
  • Detail-oriented individual
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Confident and curious individual in a complex, fast-paced environment

What You’ll Do With Us

  • Collect and analyze data to make smarter marketing decisions within the context of the buyer’s journey
  • Deep dive into data to identify gaps and trends, and build strategies that accomplish client business goals
  • Optimize campaigns on digital marketing platforms and monitor campaign success by setting, tracking, and interpreting KPIs
  • Use content and automation to deliver the right message to the right audiences at the right time
  • Offer insights across campaigns and develop innovative points of view that increase agency thought leadership
  • Research clients, competitors, and marketing trends to provide an agency POV about new technology, pros/cons of certain media and/or channels, etc.

 

What We Need From You

  • Current major in marketing or related field
  • Full-time availability (Monday–Friday/8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Certifications in HubSpot, Google, Facebook, etc., are a plus but not required
  • Track record of delivering flawless work on deadline
  • Ability to multitask and manage workload to keep all projects moving forward
  • Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Creative problem-solver who advances solutions
  • Confident and cooperative across teams to gather information needed to complete tasks
  • Willing to learn, grow, and show progress and improvement over time

At Icon, you’ll help high-profile brands achieve their marketing goals and collaborate with the design team in our fast-paced agency environment. What You’ll Do With Us

  • Create and design print and digital advertising materials while adhering to our clients’ specific brand guidelines
  • Use design software and work with a wide variety of media while learning new techniques along the way
  • Collaborate and work together with our design studio team while experiencing real-life agency exposure
  • Receive feedback from your design mentor and the art director to improve upon your work and abilities

 

What We Need From You

  • Graphic design major
  • Full-time availability (Monday–Friday/8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite specifically in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat
  • Compelling portfolio of graphic design work
  • Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals
  • Ability to multitask and manage workload to keep all projects moving forward
  • Detail-oriented while ensuring deadlines are met and work is consistent and accurate across all executions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to learn, grow, and show progress and improvement over time

At Icon, you’ll help high-profile brands adapt to new and emerging technology as part of the design team in our fast-paced agency environment. What you’ll do with us

  • Collaborate with Creative, Account, and Strategy team members on all digital projects
  • Design and develop websites, landing pages, and animated banner ads
  • Prepare final designs and collect graphic assets for development
  • Employ and share knowledge of user experience and other digital design best practices

 

What we need

  • Pursuing a degree in Digital Design or related fields with a strong portfolio
  • Full-time availability (Monday-Friday/8:30am-5:30pm)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Animate (Flash)
  • User interface design and user experience design expertise
  • Strong eye for detail and accuracy
  • Organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to multitask and keep all projects moving forward and on deadline
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

What we like

  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Understanding of JavaScript task managers (gulp) and CSS preprocessors (SCSS)
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms including WordPress
  • Familiarity with motion design and After Effects
