HELPING RETAILERS ACHIEVE RESULTS

To help retailers to achieve their goals and make it easier to plan their quarters, Tempur Sealy looked to Icon to produce an booklet that reps could use to work with their retailers to plan, but also provide information for upcoming promotions, best practices and new product information.

The asset needed to clearly communicate Tempur Sealy’s mission, their focused efforts for the year and provide the retailer insights that will help drive shoppers into their stores.

Icon was tasked with creating a bold, magazine-style booklet that was engaging and that would communicate their vision as well as provide tools for the Reps to work with their retailer.

Process

YOU SAY YOU WANT A REVOLUTION

After much brainstorming, “Revolution” was chosen as a theme for the magazine. “Revolution” stands for many things and evokes emotion. For Tempur Sealy, it was creating a “revolution” with their new products and causing a stir in the mattress category. We worked hand-in-hand with the client on creative look/tone/feel and overall messaging to produce a booklet that was distributed company wide.

Results

REQUIRED READING

The result was a printed booklet with interviews from executives, product managers and marketing materials which helped the reps talk to their retailers, as well as using calendars in the back to help them write in their quarterly plans. To quote one sales director, “The new planning guide is absolutely AWESOME!”
