Account Supervisor, Retail Marketing

Hi. We are Icon, a fast-growing agency in Northern Kentucky that lives at the intersection of Retail, commerce, and digital. We’re looking for an Account Supervisor to join our team.

You will be responsible for the development, execution, and management of retail marketing programs for national considered purchase brands. The pace is quick and the work encompasses both turnkey execution and strategic development. In addition to managing several team members working on this business, you will have day-to-day project and account responsibilities. Additionally, the Account Supervisor will be expected to support Icon’s overall business and client service needs as required.

The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years experience in marketing and advertising with significant experience in the retail channel. Experience with considered purchase brands is a bonus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain internal and external relationships to deliver high-quality work
• Ensure retail marketing programs are aligned with brand strategies and key business objectives
• Leverage client and competitive knowledge to drive strategies and initiatives
• Work with the client teams to develop retailer-focused initiatives that drive awareness, consideration, lead generation, store traffic, conversion, and positive brand exposure
• Drive adoption of programs through communication and education of retailers and client sales teams
• Capture feedback from retailer/sales team to improve effectiveness and drive innovation
• Identify opportunities to gain efficiencies within Icon’s retail marketing group
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and invoices in alignment with accounting processes and expectations
• Manage several clients within the group directly and support day-to-day execution of work as needed
• Resolve challenges in a professional, organized, and efficient way
• Seek out opportunities for organic business growth with clients


• Minimum of 6 years agency experience with significant retail marketing experience
• Expert management skills
• Highly developed organizational skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Strong communication (written & verbal) and presentation skills
• The confidence and ability to work with a variety of personalities effectively
• Superior problem-solving skills and confidence in navigating complexity
• Proficient in MS Office Suite programs (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Periodic day and/or overnight travel may be required
